Procurement Executive – Galvanizing Manufacturing Company

Job Summary
Responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, chemicals, consumables, machinery spare parts, and services required for galvanizing operations while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Procure galvanizing raw materials such as:
- Zinc ingots
- Hydrochloric acid (HCl)
- Flux chemicals (zinc ammonium chloride)
- Caustic soda
- Passivation chemicals
- Purchase production consumables:
- Grinding wheels
- Abrasives
- Welding consumables
- Safety equipment (PPE)
- Source plant machinery spare parts and maintenance items.
- Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and negotiate prices.
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
- Maintain minimum inventory levels to avoid production stoppages.
- Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and finance departments.
- Evaluate supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery.




- Track market prices of zinc and other critical raw materials.
- Ensure procurement complies with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Maintain procurement records and vendor databases.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- 2–5 years of procurement experience in galvanizing, steel, fabrication, or manufacturing industries.
- Understanding of hot-dip galvanizing processes and zinc market trends.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
