Job Summary

Mekr Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and dynamic Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in our home appliance manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, managing manpower, maintaining product quality, ensuring workplace safety, and improving productivity on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day production activities on the shop floor.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Allocate manpower effectively to meet production requirements.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Purchase departments for smooth operations.
- Minimize production losses, rework, and rejection.
- Ensure proper utilization of machines, materials, and manpower.
- Maintain production records, reports, and shift documentation.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdown resolution.
- Implement and maintain 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
- Train operators and line workers on production processes and quality standards.
- Handle shop-floor issues and maintain discipline among workers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.





Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of production planning and shop-floor management.
- Experience in assembly line operations and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to manage manpower and production targets.
- Knowledge of productivity improvement techniques.
- Understanding of quality control and rejection reduction methods.
- Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.

- Consumer Durable Manufacturing
- Electronics Assembly Manufacturing

Qualification

- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Relevant technical qualifications with manufacturing experience will also be considered.

Experience

- 2 to 5 years of experience as Production Supervisor, Line Supervisor, Shift Incharge, or Production Executive in a manufacturing company.
