Job Summary

Gate Manufacturing Private Limited is looking for experienced CNC Operators (Milling & Turning) for aerospace component manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for operating high-precision multi-axis CNC machines, ensuring strict adherence to aerospace quality standards, and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

- Operate and monitor 5 CNC Milling and Turning machines for aerospace components.
- Perform machine setup, work holding, tool setting, and offset corrections.
- Execute approved CNC programs and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Load/unload materials and handle components carefully to avoid damage.

Aerospace Quality & Inspection

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and aerospace process sheets.
- Perform in-process inspection using precision measuring instruments:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Dial Indicators
- Ensure compliance with tight tolerances and aerospace quality requirements.
- Maintain proper traceability and documentation as per aerospace standards.

Tool & Process Control

- Monitor tool wear and replace inserts/tools as required.
- Make minor program adjustments (offsets, tool wear compensation).




- Ensure proper coolant usage, cutting parameters, and cycle optimization.

Safety & Shop Floor Discipline

- Follow AS9100 / aerospace quality practices and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain 5S, safety, and machine cleanliness.
- Report machine abnormalities, breakdowns, or quality issues immediately.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in 5 Axis CNC Milling and/or Turning.
- Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain controllers.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Experience handling aerospace or high-precision components.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining parameters.
- Ability to work in shift operations.

Preferred (Added Advantage)

- Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing (Aluminum, Titanium, Inconel, etc.)
- Exposure to VMC / HMC / Multi-axis machining centers
- Basic knowledge of G & M codes
- Experience in maintaining process and quality documentation

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
