Job Title : Senior Manager- Production Support

Experience : 10 to 15 Years

Location : Chennai

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead and manage production support activities for business-critical applications and systems.

- Monitor production environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability and stability.

- Manage Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams for issue resolution.

- Support production, disaster recovery (DR), and non-production environments.

- Manage release deployments and application implementation activities.

- Monitor system performance, capacity, and application health using monitoring tools.

- Prepare MIS reports, operational dashboards, and service performance metrics.

- Support software testing and validation from an operations perspective.

- Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, operational controls,



and service-level agreements (SLAs).

- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Requisites
- Strong experience in Production Support, Application Support, and Operations Management.

- Hands-on knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes.

- Proficiency in Oracle Queries, SQL, and database troubleshooting.

- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems, Linux commands, and Shell Scripting.

- Knowledge of Java/C applications and production support environments.

- Familiarity with application monitoring and automation tools such as ServiceNow, Control-M, and ITRS.

- Understanding of production, DR, and non-production environment management.

- Experience in deployment, migration, and release management activities.

- Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management processes.

- Ability to work independently and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Knowledge of the BFSI or financial services domain is an added advantage.
