Job Overview
We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in Steel Structural Design and Connection Design using IDEA StatiCa and STAAD.Pro. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and validating steel connections for industrial structures and possess a strong understanding of IS 800:2007, IS 875 (Relevant Parts), and IS 1893 for safe, efficient, and code-compliant structural designs. Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, EPC, or Industrial projects will be an added advantage.

Core Responsibilities

- Perform structural analysis of steel structures using STAAD.Pro.
- Design and validate steel connections using IDEA StatiCa, including bolted, welded, moment, shear, splice, base plate, and anchor bolt connections.
- Prepare and review structural design calculations, connection design reports, and engineering documentation.
- Design and analyze industrial steel structures such as Pipe Racks, Skid Structures, Equipment Support Structures, Maintenance Platforms, Walkways, Handrails, Steel Carports, Solar Support Structures, and other miscellaneous steel structures.
- Review fabrication drawings, connection details, and structural calculations to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable design standards.
- Coordinate with detailing engineers, fabrication teams,



project engineers, clients, and site personnel to resolve technical and fabrication-related issues.
- Optimize structural members and connection designs for safety, constructability, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, inspection, and site erection activities.

Qualification

- BE / B.Tech – Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering

Experience

- 3–5 Years in Steel Structural Design and Connection Design.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in IDEA StatiCa (Mandatory).
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro (Mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of steel structural analysis and steel connection design.
- Experience in reviewing fabrication drawings, connection detailing, and engineering calculations.
- Valuable understanding of steel fabrication, welding, bolting, and erection practices.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- AutoCAD
- MS Excel

Preferred Industry
