Job Title: Social Media Marketing Executive
Job Summary:
We're seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketing Intern to join our e-commerce team. The intern will assist in developing and executing social media strategies to drive sales, engagement, and brand awareness for our online store.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
2. Create high-quality content (product showcases, promotions, user-generated content) to showcase products and engage customers
3. Develop and implement social media content calendars aligned with e-commerce goals
4. Collaborate with our marketing team to integrate social media with email marketing, promotions, and product launches
5. Monitor and report on social media metrics (engagement rates, conversions, etc.) and provide insights for improvement
6. Engage with customers, respond to comments and messages, and resolve issues
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices
Requirements:
1. Currently enrolled in a degree program (Marketing,
Communications, or related field)
2. Strong understanding of social media platforms and e-commerce marketing
3. Excellent content creation and writing skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights)
6. Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have:
1. Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce)
2. Knowledge of paid social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads)
3. Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
