We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Management Intern to support sample accessioning and tracking in an NGS lab. This role ensures accurate sample intake, data management, and smooth coordination for timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate sample accessioning and verify patient/sample details
- Assign and track Sample IDs; ensure proper labeling & documentation
- Maintain records of sample receipt, storage, and status
- Track sample flow: extraction → library prep → sequencing → analysis
- Update daily trackers, monitor TAT, and flag discrepancies/delays
- Coordinate with lab and bioinformatics teams
- Support QC checks and ensure compliance with SOPs
Requirements
- Degree/pursuing in Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Microbiology
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of lab/NGS workflows (preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Positive communication skills
