Job Description – Deputy Director – International Tie-Up
Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Position Summary
The University is looking for an experienced and strategic professional for the position of Deputy Director – International Tie-Ups. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and managing international collaborations, developing global academic partnerships, and enhancing the University's international presence through student mobility programs, research initiatives, and institutional alliances.
Key Responsibilities
International Partnerships & Collaborations
- Identify, initiate, and establish strategic partnerships with international universities, institutions, research centers, and industry organizations.
- Lead discussions, negotiations, and execution of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), articulation agreements, and academic collaboration frameworks.
- Develop and manage relationships with global partners to ensure long-term engagement and mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Explore opportunities for dual degree, twinning, semester exchange, pathway, and joint certification programs.
Student & Faculty Mobility
- Facilitate student exchange, study abroad, internship, and international immersion programs.
- Coordinate faculty exchange initiatives, visiting scholar programs, and collaborative teaching opportunities.
- Promote participation in international conferences, workshops, and academic events.
Research & Academic Collaboration
- Identify opportunities for joint research projects, international grants, and team-oriented publications.
- Support faculty members in developing research partnerships with overseas institutions.
- Encourage interdisciplinary collaborations to strengthen the University's global academic footprint.
International Outreach & Representation
- Represent the University at international education fairs, conferences, networking events, and delegation visits.
- Develop strategies to enhance the University's global visibility and attract international students.
- Liaise with embassies, education agencies, and international associations to foster new partnerships.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines related to international collaborations and mobility programs.
- Maintain records of agreements, partnership activities, and collaboration outcomes.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and strategic plans for senior management regarding internationalization initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA or B.Tech from a recognized institution; international exposure or additional qualifications will be an advantage.
- 10–15 years of experience in international relations, global partnerships, higher education collaborations, or business development.
- Proven track record of establishing and managing international academic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of global higher education systems, student mobility programs, and international collaboration models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
