Job Summary

The Product Picking Merchandiser is responsible for identifying and selecting suitable garments and products based on buyer requirements, market trends, pricing, quality, and production capabilities. The role involves coordinating with sourcing, design, and production teams to ensure the right products are presented to customers and orders are executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and select garments based on buyer requirements and seasonal trends.
- Coordinate with vendors and factories to identify suitable products.
- Prepare product presentations, quotations, and sample collections.
- Evaluate product quality, fabric, trims, workmanship, and pricing.
- Work closely with design, sourcing, and production teams to develop customer-ready collections.
- Monitor sample development and ensure timely submission to buyers.
- Maintain product catalogs, sample libraries, and merchandising records.
- Analyze market trends, competitor products,



and customer preferences.
- Support negotiations with suppliers on cost, lead time, and quality.
- Ensure selected products meet company quality standards and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Merchandising, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in garment merchandising, sourcing, or product development.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and manufacturing processes.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and merchandising documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple products and deadlines.
