Job Description – Welfare Officer

We are looking for a Welfare Officer to support employee welfare and create a safe, healthy, and positive work environment in our garment manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Address employee welfare concerns and provide support to employees.
- Handle employee grievances and coordinate with HR for timely resolution.
- Conduct employee induction, counseling, and awareness programs.
- Organize welfare activities, health camps, and employee engagement programs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, welfare requirements, and POSH guidelines.
- Coordinate with the Internal Committee (IC) for POSH-related activities.
- Maintain welfare records and prepare required reports.
- Support customer social compliance audits and employee interviews.
- Coordinate with hostel, canteen,



and transport teams to ensure employee welfare.
- Work closely with HR and other departments to promote a positive workplace.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW), HR, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in employee welfare or HR, preferably in the garment/textile industry.
- Valuable communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
- Knowledge of labor laws and employee welfare practices is preferred.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
