The Retail Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining product displays, handling billing transactions, and ensuring the retail outlet is clean, organized, and fully stocked. The role also involves assisting guests with product selection and contributing to the overall shopping experience within the park.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information about merchandise, pricing, and ongoing promotions.
- Operate the billing system and process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Arrange, replenish, and maintain product displays to ensure an attractive retail setting.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of low-stock items.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged and displayed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail outlet.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing inventory.
- Support periodic stock counts and inventory verification.
- Handle customer queries and resolve minor concerns professionally.
- Follow company policies related to cash handling, inventory control, and customer service.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth retail operations.
Qualifications
- Higher Secondary (Plus Two) or Diploma/Graduate in any discipline.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cashier operations is preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills may also apply.
