Role Overview

This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to ensure timely delivery, efficient resource utilization, and effective inventory control. The position plays a key role in maintaining overall production efficiency and meeting customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on demand forecasts and order priorities
- Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
- Identify potential shortages, delays, and bottlenecks; take proactive corrective actions
- Monitor production progress against plans and adjust schedules as required
- Ensure execution of production plans to meet delivery timelines and customer expectations
- Maintain optimal inventory levels using Min-Max, reorder point, and safety stock techniques
- Create, release, and track production orders in SAP with accurate and real-time updates
- Collaborate with production, quality, logistics, and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Analyze production performance data (output, delays, efficiency) to identify improvement areas
- Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and production capacity
- Track and report key KPIs such as plan vs. actual, on-time delivery, and capacity utilization




- Prepare and share MIS reports on production status, delays, and inventory levels
- Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, lead time reduction, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety guidelines

Education & Experience

- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Experience: 1–3 years in PPC or production planning within a manufacturing environment
- Exposure: Production scheduling, inventory control, shop floor coordination
- ERP Knowledge: SAP or equivalent ERP system preferred
- Industry Preference: Engineering, Automotive, Bearings, or Manufacturing
- Additional Preference: Candidates with prior experience in the bearing industry will be given first priority

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
