THE ROLE

We build industrial inspection systems — computer vision and AI retrofitted onto factory automation lines. The cameras, controllers, and I/O boards those systems run on are designed in house, and we are looking for the engineer who owns them.

This is not a supervised seat. You will take compact camera and embedded boards from block diagram through to a validated, manufacturable revision, and stay with them through bring-up, pilot builds, and the field issues that follow. Expect 4–8 layer boards, tight mechanical envelopes, and hardware that has to survive a shop floor.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

- Architecture and schematic capture for industrial camera and embedded compute boards — power tree, sensor interfaces, connectors, protection, and component selection you can defend.
- Multilayer PCB layout end to end: stackup and impedance planning, placement, routing of high-speed interfaces (MIPI CSI-2, USB, LVDS, Ethernet), power integrity, and EMI/thermal decisions.
- Design review discipline — ERC/DRC clean, DFM/DFA reviewed with the assembler, and manufacturing packages (Gerbers, drills, BOM, pick-and-place, assembly notes) released without rework loops.
- Board bring-up and validation: test plans, bench measurement, debugging with scope and analyzer, failure analysis, and revision notes that close the loop into the next spin
- Vendor and supply ownership — fabricators, assemblers, and distributors; second sources, lifecycle risk, and cost per board.
- Library and documentation standards in KiCad, plus mentoring one or two interns on layout and release hygiene

WHAT WE EXPECT

- 2–5 years designing production electronics; B.E./B.Tech in ECE, EEE, or equivalent practice.
- At least two boards you took from schematic to a manufactured, working revision — you can walk us through the mistakes and what the next spin fixed. Fluent in KiCad, or fluent in Altium/OrCAD and willing to move to KiCad as the house tool.

- Comfortable with datasheets, reference designs, and layout guidelines as primary sources; comfortable saying a design is not ready.
- Hands-on lab ability: soldering and rework, scope, DMM, logic analyzer, bring-up of an unpowered board you have never seen working.
- Written communication that survives handoff — schematics, notes, and reviews that another engineer can act on.

ROBUST BONUS

- Image sensor integration, camera modules, or optics-adjacent hardware.
- SoM/SBC carrier design (NVIDIA Jetson, i.MX, Raspberry Pi CM) or FPGA-attached interfaces.
- Industrial I/O and field robustness — 24 V rails, isolation, surge and ESD, IP-rated enclosures.
- Firmware or driver literacy (C, embedded Linux device trees) enough to debug across the hardware boundary.
- Experience taking a board through EMC pre-compliance or a certification cycle.
- Mechanical CAD collaboration — STEP exchange, connector and mounting fit checks.

WHAT YOU GET

- Full ownership of the hardware line — your name on the boards, not on a subsection of someone else's.
- Short loop from design to deployment: our boards ship into live factory lines within months, not years.
- Prototyping budget, lab access, and no approval theatre for parts and spins you can justify.
- Flexible hours, and a small team where hardware sits in the room with the vision and firmware engineers.

HOW TO APPLY

Send a résumé plus one page on a board you designed: what it did, the layout constraint that hurt most, and how you solved it. Gerbers, schematics, or photographs welcome — a portfolio beats a keyword list.

Process: portfolio screen → 60-minute technical conversation walking through your own design → a short take-home review of a real schematic → offer.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year

Benefits:

- Cell phone reimbursement
- Commuter assistance
- Flexible schedule
- Internet reimbursement
- Paid sick time
- Paid time off
- Provident Fund

Work Location: In person
