Position Overview:

The Head of Research & Development (R&D;) will spearhead the innovation, development, and enhancement of products for the organization. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader who can align R&D; initiatives with business goals, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of innovation while meeting consumer needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute the organizations R&D; strategy to drive product innovation and differentiation.
- Align R&D; efforts with consumer trends, market demands, and business growth objectives.

2. Product Development and Innovation:

- Lead the ideation, formulation, and development of current products across categories, ensuring timely launches.
- Drive the optimization and improvement of existing products in terms of quality, cost, and sustainability.

3. Compliance and Quality:

- Ensure all R&D; activities comply with relevant regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and industry best practices.




- Oversee quality assurance protocols during product development and testing phases.

4. Sustainability and Efficiency:

- Champion sustainable product development by exploring eco-friendly ingredients, processes, and packaging.
- Optimize R&D; processes to ensure cost efficiency and scalability without compromising quality.

5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

- Partner with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to align R&D; outputs with market needs.
- Liaise with external research institutions, suppliers, and industry bodies to foster innovation and partnerships.

6. Team Leadership and Development:

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing R&D; team with expertise in product development and innovation.
- Promote a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team.

7. Project Management:

- Oversee multiple R&D; projects, ensuring timely delivery within allocated budgets.
- Establish clear milestones, KPIs, and deliverables for all projects under the R&D; portfolio.
