Job Title: IIT Foundation Faculty (Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry)

Job Summary

Pollocks School is seeking passionate and experienced IIT Foundation Faculty for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry to train students from Grades VI to X. The ideal candidate should be capable of building strong conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking while preparing students for IIT Foundation, Olympiads. Foundation programs typically combine the school curriculum with early competitive exam preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach IIT Foundation Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry to students of Grades VI–X.
- Develop conceptual clarity through activity-based and problem-solving approaches.
- Prepare students for Olympiads and IIT Foundation examinations.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and question banks.
- Conduct regular tests, analyze student performance, and provide individual mentoring.
- Identify learning gaps and implement effective remedial strategies.
- Encourage critical thinking, logical reasoning, and analytical skills.
- Use technology-enabled teaching methods, smart boards, and digital learning resources.
- Participate in parent meetings, faculty training, and academic planning.
- Maintain academic records and student progress reports.

Qualifications





- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. is preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in IIT Foundation/JEE Foundation teaching.
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
- Experience in CBSE curriculum and competitive exam preparation is preferred.
