About the Role

Kaya Hotels & Resorts is looking for a proactive and experienced Unit Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property in Pelling, Sikkim. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination between departments, maintain exceptional guest service standards, and drive operational efficiency while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
- Supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, and Maintenance teams.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by delivering high-quality hospitality services.
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, training, and overall productivity.
- Coordinate with department heads to maintain service standards and operational excellence.
- Assist in budgeting, inventory management, cost control, and revenue optimization.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies,



hygiene standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare daily operational reports and communicate performance updates to management.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.

Requirements

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel operations, with supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and maintain high service standards.
