"Job Description: Sr. Test Engineer – Finacle Core Banking (Retail & Payments) Location: Mumbai, India (GIDC/Offshore Development Center) Industry: IT Services / Banking Experience: 5–7 Years Role Objective As a Sr. Test Engineer, you will be a key technical contributor to the Finacle 11.x implementation for a leading banking client in the GCC region. You will be responsible for the end-to-end functional validation of Retail Banking modules and International Payment systems. This role requires a high degree of technical proficiency in Finacle’s menu-driven architecture and a solid understanding of cross-border financial messaging. Key Responsibilities 1.



Functional Execution & Analysis • Perform rigorous functional testing of Finacle 10x/11x Retail modules, with a specific focus on CASA (Current Accounts, Savings Accounts) and TD (Term Deposits). • Validate complex banking scenarios including tiered interest calculations, tax deductions at source, account lien marking, and maturity processing. • Map business requirements (BRD) to detailed test cases, ensuring 100% traceability and coverage of GCC-specific localized features. 2. Payments & SWIFT Validation • Execute end-to-end testing for International Funds Transfers involving Foreign Currencies (FCY). • Verify SWIFT message generation (MT/MX formats) and ensure correct field mapping for cross-border transactions. • Test payment workflows including exchange rate application, intermediary bank charges, and payment status notifications. 3. Defect Management & Reporting • Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or ALM, providing detailed steps to reproduce and supporting logs from the Finacle application server. • Collaborate closely with the Onsite Test Lead in the UAE to align on daily execution targets and defect priority. • Participate in daily stand-ups and provide granular updates on execution progress and blockers. Technical Requirements • Finacle Expertise: 5–7 years of core banking testing experience
