The Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) specializes in teaching specific core subjects to middle and secondary school students in Grades 6 to 10. The primary focus is to prepare students for higher academic challenges while fostering critical thinking and subject-matter mastery in accordance with CBSE patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Subject Delivery: Conduct interactive subject-specific classes (e.g., Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Languages) following the CBSE syllabus guidelines.
- Pedagogical Innovation: Implement laboratory experiments, project-based assignments, and digital tools to explain complex concepts.
- Examination Preparation: Design quality question papers, test series, and assignments aligned with CBSE internal assessment rubrics.
- Mentorship: Serve as a class teacher, providing academic guidance, emotional counseling,
and career orientation.
- Co-curricular Duties: Actively lead and participate in house systems, clubs, exhibitions, and school events.
- Career development: Complete mandatory annual CBSE training modules and workshops.
Qualifications & Eligibility (CBSE Norms)
- Academic Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Professional Degree: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
- Mandatory Exam: Qualified CTET Paper-2 or State TET.
- Age Limit: Generally up to 35 years (relaxations apply as per government rules).
Pay: ₹20,227.04 - ₹39,283.75 per month
