Role: Travel Consultant – API Team (LCC Booking)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an API Operations Executive to manage domestic and international LCC bookings received through API integrations. The role involves validating booking requests, issuing tickets, resolving booking exceptions, and ensuring seamless processing within defined SLAs. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of airline booking processes, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with airlines, technology, and operations teams to maintain high booking accuracy and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

- Monitor and process domestic and international LCC bookings received through API integrations.
- Validate booking requests, passenger details,



fare accuracy, ticket status, and payment confirmations before ticket issuance.
- Issue tickets through airline portals and internal booking systems within defined SLAs.
- Handle booking failures, duplicate bookings, fare mismatches, payment discrepancies, and API exceptions.
- Coordinate with airlines, technology teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve booking-related issues.
- Manage booking queues to ensure timely processing and minimal turnaround time.
- Process cancellations, schedule changes, and booking amendments in accordance with airline policies.
- Identify and escalate API-related errors, technical issues, and booking anomalies to the relevant teams.
- Maintain accurate booking records and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with airline policies, company SOPs, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Product, Technology, Customer Support, and Operations teams to improve booking success rates and operational efficiency.
- Monitor airline notifications and operational updates affecting LCC bookings.

Required Skills

- 2–4 years of experience in airline ticketing, travel operations, or API booking management.
- Hands-on experience with LCC airline booking processes.
- Familiarity with B2B travel platforms such as TripJack, TBO, Akbar Online, TravClan, or similar OTA systems.
- Good understanding of airline booking workflows, PNR lifecycle, ticket issuance, cancellations, and schedule changes.
- Basic knowledge of GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and resolve booking exceptions quickly.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, SLA-driven operational workplace.
