Job Summary

ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role involves customizing applications, automating workflows, and integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems to enhance IT service delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.) • Design and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations • Build and maintain catalog items, record producers, and service portals • Develop REST/SOAP API integrations with external systems • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and performance bottlenecks • Participate in upgrade planning and instance maintenance • Ensure adherence to best practices, governance, and coding standards • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering and solution design • Maintain technical documentation (SOPs, KB articles) • Support audit, compliance, and security requirements





Skill Requirements

Solid hands-on experience in: • ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript) • Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes • Flow Designer / Workflow Editor Experience with modules: • ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change) • Service Catalog • CMDB (preferred) Integration experience: • REST / SOAP APIs Knowledge of: • Service Portal / UI Builder • ACLs, Data Policies, UI Policies Familiarity with: • JSON, XML, MID Server

Other Requirements

Experience with ITOM, Discovery, HRSD, or SecOps • Exposure to Automation and Orchestration tools • Reporting & dashboard creation (Performance Analytics) • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
