About the Role

Chandigarh University is seeking a highly skilled and cutting-edge Assistant Manager – AI Expert to lead the AI Audit Cell and ensure that AI/ML systems are accurate, transparent, ethical, and compliant with applicable regulations. The role involves auditing AI models, assessing risks, implementing governance frameworks, and ensuring responsible AI adoption across the University ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities

- Audit AI/ML models, algorithms, and codebases to evaluate accuracy, reliability, fairness, and transparency.
- Assess the complete AI lifecycle, including data collection, model development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Design and implement AI governance frameworks aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Conduct bias detection, risk assessment, and mitigation activities for AI systems.




- Perform pre-deployment and post-deployment audits to ensure compliance and performance standards.
- Evaluate AI models for ethical considerations, explainability, and accountability.
- Develop audit reports, recommendations, and corrective action plans for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure responsible AI implementation.
- Monitor emerging AI regulations, standards, and best practices to maintain organizational compliance.
- Support the development of policies and controls related to AI risk management and governance.
