Service Engineer – CNC Machine Service & Installation

About Us

Densus CNC is an Indian manufacturer of compact CNC lathe machines designed for precision component manufacturing. We are expanding our service network and are looking for a dedicated Service Engineer to provide machine installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support across Pune and nearby industrial regions.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and demonstrate Densus CNC machines at customer sites.
- Train machine operators on machine operation, programming, preventive maintenance, and safety practices.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, servo, spindle, pneumatic, and CNC control-related issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and machine health inspections to maximize uptime.
- Assist customers with CNC programming, machining cycles, tooling selection, and process optimization.
- Coordinate with the technical team to resolve complex service issues.
- Maintain detailed service reports and document customer feedback after every service visit.
- Support customers through phone, video calls, and remote troubleshooting whenever possible.
- Ensure timely closure of service requests while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Requirements





✅ 2–5 years of experience in CNC machine installation or field service.
✅ Good understanding of CNC lathes, machining processes, tooling, and engineering drawings.
✅ Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code/M-code).
✅ Familiarity with CNC controllers such as Fanuc or similar systems.
✅ Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
✅ Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
✅ Willingness to travel extensively within Pune, Maharashtra, and occasionally to other states.
✅ Valid two-wheeler driving licence. A four-wheeler licence is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

✔ Experience servicing CNC turning centres, CNC Traub machines, bar feeders, or industrial automation equipment.
✔ Knowledge of servo drives, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and industrial electrical systems.
✔ Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings.
✔ Basic computer skills for report preparation and customer communication.
