Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Ahmedabad

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary:

The Financial Controller will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in accounting, finance, and management, with the ability to implement and maintain robust financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Accounting Operations:

- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Internal Controls:

- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.




- Ensure compliance with all financial and tax regulations.
- Coordinate and support external audits.
- Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and career development.
- Strategic Planning:

- Support the CFO in financial planning and strategy.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth and efficiency.
- Participate in long-term business planning and analysis.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Experience with ERP systems implementation and management.
