Shift: Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Monday–Friday) (Shift timings may be revised based on business requirements.)

Job Summary

The Payment Posting Executive is responsible for accurately and timely posting insurance and patient payments, reconciling payment batches, and ensuring compliance with client guidelines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) within the US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately post Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA), EFT, insurance, and patient payments.
- Process manual payment posting, adjustments, write-offs, refunds, reversals, and recoupments as per client guidelines.
- Reconcile payment batches and deposits to ensure posting accuracy.
- Identify and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and posting exceptions.
- Maintain productivity, quality, and turnaround time (TAT) targets.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, internal quality standards, HIPAA, and organizational policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment-related queries and discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate payment posting records and reports.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Payment Posting.
- Experience in Physician Billing and/or Hospital Billing will be preferred.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Payment Posting, ERA/EFT Processing, Manual Payment Posting, Cash Applications, Deposit Reconciliation, Credit Balance Management, Refund Processing, and Insurance Payment Analysis.
- Experience working on Practice Management Systems such as Athena, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Kareo, AdvancedMD, Greenway, or similar.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Office-based role in a fast-paced, performance-driven US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) environment.
