We are looking for an Operations intern to coordinate with the team and oversee our organization’s operations. The Operations intern role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. The specific duties of an Operations intern include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources, and securing compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting the team in ensuring that all operations are carried on in an appropriate and cost-effective way.
- Assisting in improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
- Purchasing materials, helping in planning inventory, and overseeing warehouse efficiency.
- Formulating strategic and operational objectives.
- Examining financial data and using them to improve profitability.
- Managing budgets and forecasts.
- Performing quality controls and monitoring production KPIs.
- Finding ways to increase quality of customer service.
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Excellent communication skills
