A veterinary supervisor cum herd manager oversees animal health, daily herd operations, and gaushala staff. Key duties include managing animal healthcare, supervising breeding and feeding programs, and directing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor the daily health, welfare, and behavior of the entire herd to spot illness or injury early.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments, or assist on-duty veterinarians.
- Manage medication use and compliance with milk safety.
- Decide when to call specialized veterinary or medical personnel for major health issues.
- Oversee breeding schedules, artificial insemination (AI), and heat detection.
- Supervise calving processes, maternity pens, and newborn calf care.




- Coordinate nutrition and feeding programs with nutritionists to maximize milk or meat yield.
- Supervise daily milking, cleaning, and feeding routines carried out by Gaushala Staffs.
- Train and oversee recent workers on Gaushala hygiene, and safety rules.
- Inspect badas, fencing, water supplies, and machinery, arranging repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of medical treatments, breeding, feed inventory, and milk or livestock production.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
