Lead Data Automation Tester Pan India · Full-time · Hybrid

About the Role The Lead Data Automation Tester will be responsible for building and improving the reliability of data platforms at scale. This role requires a strong background in automation and quality engineering, with a focus on improving system reliability and reducing production incidents. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and leading teams to success.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain test frameworks for data platforms
- Improve system reliability and reduce production incidents
- Design and implement automated testing solutions
- Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality data products
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure data quality and integrity through advanced SQL validation and reconciliation
- Implement and manage ETL or ELT workflows
- Develop and maintain strong Git workflows

Requirements

- Develop and maintain test frameworks using Python
- Build and maintain data platforms using DBT, Airflow,



and Snowflake or similar platforms
- Design and implement automated testing solutions for Kafka, Kinesis, or similar systems
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
- Manage and maintain AWS data and compute services
- Implement and manage IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Ensure strong understanding of ETL or ELT and data modeling concepts
- Manage delivery semantics and event processing challenges

Good to Have

- Experience with similar data platforms
- Familiarity with other IaC tools
