Job Description

Qualification:

- MTech in Optoelectronics and communication /Laser/Fiber optics or any related branches ·
- BTech in Electronics and communication/Telecommunication/Instrumentation or any related branches
- Experience: 2 to 4 years in Electronics and Fiber optics product development or related field.
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles

JOB responsibilities

- To conduct Fiber Optics sensor development for different applications-Perimeter Intrusion Detection System Designs
- To do Fiber optic electronic product design and developmental activities
- To do Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS)system development
- To conduct data collection and analysis for various filed events
- To conduct Data pre-processing and event analysis
- To identify and prepare Geotagging for sensor locations according to distance
- To develop Fiber Bragg grating based sensors and solutions.
- To do Research for new fibre-based product developments
- To do Software integration and interface developments
- To design, validate and test Graphical User Interface Design for different projects
- To do Coordination and implementation of Integration of Third-party products.
- To do Product Demonstrations in virtual and physical mode.




- To Conduct Site survey and Prepare project reports
- To do Client interactions for feedback and training
- To Create technical documentation
- To develop basic prototype on various devices, work in co-ordination with Design, and Production department to achieve the result.
- To coordinate with OEM companies and system integrators for projects.
- Creating Documentation and presentations for specific requirements
- Prepare BoQ and Proposals for projects
- Coordinate different teams of product developments and ensure timely results
- Travel to project sites and client locations for demo, POC and Deployments.
- Provide Training and guidance to engineers and system integrators.

Essential Skills:

- Working knowledge on fiber optic cables and passive optical components.
- Mach-Zender and Sagnac based fiber optic interferometric sensor design
- Working knowledge in Lasers and Photodetectors.
- Phase-OTDR based Distributed Acoustic Sensing
- Fiber Optic Passive components testing and utilisation in sensor designs.
- Strain, vibration and Temperature data interpretation and analysis using different tools.
- Knowledge on Electronics circuit design and understanding of schematics.
- Experience in using OSA, Splicing Machine, OTDR, Optical Power Meter, DSO
- MATLAB, Python, Labview, Embedded C
- Must be able to prepare Engineering documents and technical reports in the English language
- Valuable Oral and written Communication skill
- Knowledge of Machine learning models and data analysis
- Preparing the BOM
- End to end project execution, Client coordination

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge about Database and My SQL
- AWS and Docker integration
- Machine learning and data analysis
- At ease with Git, Docker-based software development.
- Prefer cloud experience – AWS/Azure
