M Miller Machines is looking for an experienced Fitter Technician to join our manufacturing team. The candidate should have experience in fitting, assembling, installing, and maintaining industrial machinery, preferably in the plywood or woodworking machinery sector.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit industrial machinery and machine components.
- Install and commission machines at the factory or customer site when required.
- Perform machine alignment, fitting, and adjustments.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical issues.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and repair work.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely.
- Ensure quality workmanship and follow safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the production team to complete work on time.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Mechanical, or related trade.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Fitter Technician.
- Experience in industrial machinery or plywood machinery is preferred.
- Good knowledge of mechanical fitting, bearings, shafts, belts, couplings, and machine assembly.
- Willingness to travel for installation or service if required.
