Job Title: Microbiology Lab Intern
Organization: Valiyath Institute of Medical Science

Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in microbiological tests, including sample preparation, culture, and identification of microorganisms.
- Follow standard laboratory protocols for sterilization and equipment maintenance.
- Record and document laboratory observations with accuracy.
- Learn and adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance practices in the lab.
- Collaborate with senior lab personnel for day-to-day activities.
- Support in research and clinical diagnostic activities as needed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of microbiology techniques and laboratory practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks.
