Role Overview

The Design Head leads the complete PEB and structural design function, ensuring safe, optimized, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
This role is critical in driving design accuracy, estimation support, production coordination, and project execution success.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead and manage the PEB design team (GA, shop drawings, BOM)
 Review and approve model drawings, design calculations, and load analysis
 Ensure designs comply with IS codes, client specifications, and safety standards
 Coordinate with Estimation, Sales, Production, QC, and Site teams
 Optimize structural tonnage without compromising safety
 Oversee preparation of BOM, tonnage reports, and fabrication drawings
 Support sales and estimation teams during techno-commercial discussions
 Resolve design-related issues during fabrication and site erection
 Implement design SOPs, checklists, and quality controls
 Train and mentor junior designers and engineers

Skills & Capabilities

 Strong expertise in PEB systems, portal frames, and industrial structures
 Proficient in design & analysis software (STAAD, Tekla, AutoCAD or equivalent)




 Excellent understanding of IS 800, IS 2062, wind & seismic codes
 Ability to review GA drawings, shop drawings, and erection drawings
 Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
 Cost-conscious design approach with execution focus

Capacity

 Handle multiple live projects simultaneously
 Manage complete design lifecycle — enquiry to execution support
 Ensure on-time design delivery aligned with production schedules

Eligibility

 ME / MTech – StructuralEngineering
 6 – 10 years experience in PEB / Structural Steel / Industrial Buildings
 Minimum 3–5 years in a design leadership or managerial role

Compensation & Benefits

 Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience)

Monday – Saturday | 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
