- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Prepare the Cath Lab, equipment, instruments, and consumables before procedures.
- Operate and monitor Cath Lab equipment as per established protocols.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterile techniques.
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, equipment, and consumables.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and quality protocols.
- Participate in emergency procedures and provide technical support as required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- B.Sc. in Cardiac Care Technology / Cardiovascular Technology or Diploma in Cath Lab Technology / Cardiac Care Technology.
- Valid registration/certification, wherever applicable.
- 0–5 years of experience in a Cath Lab; experienced candidates will be preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Familiarity with Cath Lab equipment and cardiac monitoring systems.
- Valuable understanding of infection control and radiation safety protocols.
