Job purpose

Lead the delivery of AI and technology-enabled initiatives within the Risk function, ensuring projects achieve

intended business outcomes while adhering to agreed timelines, budgets, governance, and risk management

requirements. The role will partner closely with Risk, Technology, Data Science, Analytics, and other enterprise

stakeholders to drive project execution, manage dependencies, and deliver solutions that enhance Risk

capabilities and decision-making.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI and technology-enabled initiatives within the Risk function.

- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and delivery plans in alignment with

business priorities.

- Drive project execution, ensuring delivery against agreed milestones, budget, quality, and business outcomes.

- Manage cross-functional teams across Risk, Technology, Data Science, Analytics, and other corporate functions.

- Establish and maintain effective project governance, including steering committees, status reporting, and

stakeholder communications.

- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.

- Ensure alignment between business requirements, technology solutions, and Risk management objectives.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and secure timely decisions to maintain project momentum.

- Oversee project budgets, resource utilization, and vendor engagements, where applicable.

- Support the implementation of AI and advanced analytics solutions that enhance Risk management,

monitoring, and decision-making capabilities.

Key competencies

- Drive adoption of project management best practices, standards, and delivery methodologies.

- Ensure adherence to Risk governance, regulatory, compliance, and control requirements throughout the

project lifecycle.

- Foster collaboration across teams to successfully deliver complex initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced





environment.

- Provide regular project updates and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, MCA, or a related

discipline.

- Strong project management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex IT and technology

initiatives.

- Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and enterprise-wide dependencies.

- Strong understanding of project governance, budgeting, risk management, and delivery controls.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and drive consensus.

- Robust communication and presentation skills, with experience providing updates to executive audiences.

- Sound understanding of Risk management principles, governance frameworks, and control environments.

- Ability to build strong partnerships across business, technology, and Risk functions to achieve delivery

outcomes.

- Knowledge of Risk domains such as Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Market Risk, Financial Crime, Model Risk, or

Enterprise Risk Management.

- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations within financial services or regulated industries.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.

- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to evolving business priorities.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance strategic objectives and execution details.

- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.

- Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, or Data Science initiatives is desirable but not required.
