Experience

2–5 years of hands-on experience in composition/typesetting for academic or STM publishing

Education

Any Graduate with background in Publishing

Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform typesetting and layout for scientific, academic, or skilled journals and books using 3B2, LaTeX, and/or InDesign.

- Handle complex math equations, tables, references, and cross-references with precision.

- Understand and apply journal or publisher-specific style guides and templates.

- Perform template development and debugging for automation and XML workflows.

- Work collaboratively with copyeditors, proofreaders, and quality controllers.

- Meet deadlines while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.

Skills

- Proficient in any one or more of the following tools:
- 3B2 (Advent Publishing Platform / APP)
- LaTeX
- Adobe InDesign (with XML workflow experience preferred)
- Familiarity with XML-based publishing workflows and automation scripts.
- Strong knowledge of publishing guidelines such as APA, AMA, MLA, Chicago, etc.
- Ability to handle large volumes of content with speed and accuracy.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
