We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented QA Engineer – Automation to join our quality assurance team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. In this role, you'll be a champion for automation, collaborating closely with developers and product managers to streamline the testing process and identify potential issues early in the development cycle.

Responsibilities

- Analyze software requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and automated test cases.
- Develop and maintain robust, reusable, and efficient automated tests using frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress (depending on the technology stack).
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous quality assurance.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and report bugs effectively.
- Collaborate with developers to diagnose and troubleshoot automation issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes for increased efficiency and coverage.

Qualifications





- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Automation software testing with a strong focus on automation.
- In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and agile methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing).
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Proficiency with automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress (a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate test results and collaborate with development teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
