Role overview
The Referral Facilitator will support people from villages in the Bero–Itki block to access government hospitals in Ranchi by coordinating referrals and navigating hospital systems.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust working relationships with staff across departments in government hospitals.
- Understand hospital processes and map doctor availability to support timely referrals.
- Coordinate closely with field teams to link individuals requiring consultations and follow-up care.
Identify and engage with public-spirited hospitals in the district to facilitate referrals when needed.
Qualifications & skills
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- Prior experience or familiarity with hospital systems preferred.
- Strong relationship-building skills, particularly within government systems.
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi and at least one local language of Jharkhand.
- 3–5 years of experience working in a hospital setting.
