Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plastic Surgeon to perform reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence. The candidate will be responsible for consultations, surgical planning, operative procedures, and post-operative care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures as per medical standards and patient requirements.
- Conduct patient consultations, evaluate medical history, and recommend suitable treatment plans.
- Handle pre-operative and post-operative patient care and follow-ups.
- Perform procedures related to facial surgery, body contouring, burns, trauma reconstruction, hand surgery, and aesthetic enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and ethical medical practices.
- Coordinate with anesthetists, dermatologists, nursing staff, and other specialists for patient management.
- Maintain accurate medical records, surgical notes, and treatment documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and technologies in plastic and cosmetic surgery.
- Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and continuous medical education programs.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery.
- MCh/DNB in Plastic Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration/license.
- Fellowship or certification in cosmetic/aesthetic surgery will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum [3–10] years of experience in plastic and cosmetic surgery.
- Experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures preferred.
