Splunk Engineer

Required Experience

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk (overall IT experience may be higher)
- Solid experience in Splunk Administration and dashboard development
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in dashboard requirement discussions with business stakeholders.
- Develop solution designs and implementation approaches based on business needs.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and clarify specifications.




- Support the creation of functional breakdown structures and technical task planning.
- Provide effort estimates for assigned features and enhancements.
- Guide and mentor development team members on Splunk best practices.
- Design, develop, and implement Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.
- Configure and manage Splunk forwarders, integrations, and custom scripts.
- Conduct peer reviews and ensure adherence to coding and development standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and implement performance improvements and optimization opportunities.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.
- Support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
