Job Summary

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment. The role ensures that stock is accurately maintained, stored safely, and readily available while minimizing losses and maintaining proper records.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Store materials in an organized and protected manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements.
- Issue materials to departments as per approved requests.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area.
- Prepare inventory reports and maintain relevant documentation.




- Coordinate with procurement and other departments regarding stock requirements.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree or diploma is an advantage).
- Experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Assistant, or in a similar inventory management role.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and storekeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software is preferred.
- Good mathematical and record-keeping skills.
