A Fortune 200 company is building its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India and has partnered with Flexiple to hire infrastructure engineers for its platform engineering function. You will help stand up and run the infrastructure backbone for a global organisation's India operations from the ground up. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Role Overview
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain the servers, networks, and virtualisation layer that keep enterprise systems running reliably.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Build & Operations
- Build and maintain server, storage, and virtualisation infrastructure
- Manage networking, firewalls, and connectivity across environments
- Support day-to-day infrastructure operations and change requests
Automation & Reliability
- Automate routine infrastructure tasks using scripting or configuration-management tools
- Monitor infrastructure health and respond to alerts and incidents
- Maintain documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3 to 8 years in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or a related role
- Experience with Linux and Windows server administration
- Working knowledge of virtualisation (VMware or similar) and enterprise networking
- Explicit written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to public cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- ITIL certification or equivalent service-management experience
- Experience with configuration-management tools such as Ansible
