This role involves providing expert consultation for patients with digestive issues, conducting diagnostic procedures, and offering ongoing treatment for chronic conditions.Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert consultations for patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including chronic conditions like IBS, liver disease, and reflux.- Conduct medical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests (e.G., endoscopies, colonoscopies, imaging).- Diagnose conditions affecting the stomach, liver, pancreas, and intestines.- Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to manage patient care.- Educate patients about disease prevention, dietary changes, and lifestyle modifications.- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in gastroenterology.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and trainees in gastroenterology.
