Role Overview
The SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing end‑to‑end onboarding solutions using SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0. The role involves close collaboration with HR, IT, business stakeholders, and integration teams to ensure a seamless new‑hire experience aligned with business processes and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Lead and support end‑to‑end implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 (People‑Centered Onboarding)
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into system configurations
• Configure onboarding processes including:
• New Hire onboarding programs
• Tasks, task groups, and roles
• Email notifications and alerts
• Panels and custom panels
• Configure Compliance Forms (Country‑specific and custom forms)
• Drive business rule setup using Business Rules Framework
• Manage Document Management and e‑Signature (DocuSign / Adobe Sign) integration
• Support data migration and onboarding of legacy hiring data (if required)
• Integrations & Data Flow




• Configure and support integration between:
• Recruiting Management / Recruiting Marketing
• Employee Central
• External vendor systems (e‑signature, background verification, IT provisioning)
• Understand Point‑to‑Point and CPI‑based integrations (high‑level)
• Testing & Go‑Live
• Prepare and execute unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support
• Support cutover and go‑live activities
• Provide post‑production support and hypercare
• Documentation & Stakeholder Management
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scripts
• Conduct workshops, demos, and end‑user training
• Coordinate with global and regional stakeholders

• Strong hands‑on experience with SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0
• Solid understanding of SuccessFactors Employee Central data model
• Experience with Business Rules Framework
• Knowledge of Onboarding objects, MDF concepts, and role‑based permissions (RBP)
Functional Skills
• Strong understanding of End‑to‑End Hire‑to‑Onboard lifecycle
• Experience in HR processes such as hiring, compliance, document management
• Ability to work with global deployments and country‑specific onboarding requirements
Positive‑to‑Have Skills
• Experience with Recruiting Management and handover to Onboarding
• Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors Integration Center or SAP CPI
• Experience with custom panels, UI customization, and XML templates
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (US I‑9, GDPR, etc.)
• Experience working in Agile or Hybrid project models
