Job Summary
Role Overview
The Senior Consultant – SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP GTS solutions to ensure global trade compliance, customs management, and trade optimization for clients.

Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP GTS implementations, upgrades, and rollouts
Configure and support SAP GTS modules, including:
• Compliance Management (Sanctioned Party List, Embargo, Legal Control)
• Customs Management
• Preference Management
• Risk Management
Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP GTS functional designs
Conduct fit–gap analysis and propose scalable solutions
Integrate SAP GTS with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and third-party systems
Support UAT, training, cutover, and go-live activities




Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement
Prepare functional specifications and support technical developments
Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
Ensure compliance with global trade regulations and best practices

Skill Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of SAP consulting experience with 3+ years in SAP GTS
Solid hands-on experience in SAP GTS 10.x / SAP GTS on S/4HANA
Good understanding of:
• International trade compliance
• Customs processes and documentation
• Export/import regulations
Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA integration
Strong functional configuration skills in SAP GTS
Experience working in global, multi-country implementations
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications
SAP GTS Certification
Experience in S/4HANA global trade integration
Strong documentation and presentation skills
Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or global supply chain domains
Exposure to AMS/support projects

Soft Skills
