Job Summary
Job Description :Primary skill: ServiceNow ITSM, Secondary skill: ServiceNow ITOM/DiscoveryWe are seeking a senior ServiceNow Consultant with 8+ years of experience to lead platform consulting, solution design, and hands-on development across enterprise implementations. The role will partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions, with strong expertise in ITSM and ITOM (Discovery/CMDB), integrations, and governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Minimum 8+ years of overall experience, with a proven track record in ServiceNow consulting, development, and end-to-end implementations.
• Lead requirements workshops with stakeholders; translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solution designs aligned to out-of-box capabilities.
• ServiceNow administration and governance: manage platform incidents/requests/changes, oversee releases and upgrades, and ensure development standards (code quality, performance, security) are followed.
• Provide consultative guidance on process standardization and platform best practices; assess enhancement requests for feasibility, risk, and value; recommend optimal solutions.
• Build basic/advanced reports and dashboards (including complex queries) to support operational and executive reporting needs.




• Plan and execute Discovery runs; troubleshoot access issues and ensure reliable identification of infrastructure and applications.
• Troubleshoot Discovery issues (credentials/password, WMI/WinRM, MID Server connectivity, firewall/network constraints) and drive resolution.
• Perform reconciliation and normalization to ensure CMDB data quality, completeness, and ongoing governance.
• Design and build custom attributes and data synchronization patterns for CMDB integrations and inventory ingestion.
• Serve as primary technical/functional consultant for ServiceNow engagements; partner with business owners and internal teams to drive adoption and measurable outcomes.
• Deliver solution demos, technical design documents, development artifacts, and knowledge transfer to support successful rollout and support handover.
• Work collaboratively with ServiceNow team and business stakeholders to monitor for scope creep and resolve critical path technical issues and challenges. Provide mentorship to developers and platform engineers on technical design standards and best practices.
• Help maintain expert knowledge of ServiceNow platform and products and ensure mentorship within the team.

Skill Requirements
Strong hands-on ServiceNow development: scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes), Flow Designer/Workflow, ACLs, UI Policies, notifications, and catalog items.
• Consulting and solution design: facilitate workshops, write user stories/functional specs, and propose best-practice solutions with minimal customization.
• ITSM process expertise (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge) and ability to align process design to platform capabilities.
• ITOM/CMDB expertise: Discovery,



MID Server, identification & reconciliation, normalization, CMDB data quality and governance.
• Integrations and data: REST/SOAP APIs, import sets, transform maps, scheduled jobs, and integration troubleshooting.
• Reporting & analytics: advanced reporting, dashboards; Performance Analytics exposure is a plus.
• Delivery governance: Agile/SDLC, estimation, code reviews, release management, upgrades, and documentation/knowledge transfer.
• Robust communication, stakeholder management, and ability to mentor junior developers/engineers.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, including consulting, solution design, and development across ITSM and ITOM (Discovery/CMDB); additional exposure to Portal/Integrations is a plus.
• ServiceNow certifications preferred: CSA and CAD; module certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-Discovery/ITOM) are highly desirable.
• Expertise level understanding of ServiceNow Platform & its capabilities are required.
• Ability to understand business needs, standardize processes, and translate requirements into high-level and detailed solution designs (user stories, configurations, technical specifications).
• Prior experience of working with international teams
• Result-oriented and good communication skills.
• Willing to take on new challenges and drive them to completion.
