Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance web applications using PHP, Symfony, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and jQuery
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Architect and implement clean, effective, reusable, and testable code following best practices and industry standards
- Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers to support team growth and code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability
- Lead a team of 6–8 developers, provide technical guidance, and manage task assignments
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives
- Document system designs, architecture decisions, and API specifications for knowledge sharing and support
- Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize development tasks and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
- Identify opportunities for performance optimization, refactoring, and technical debt reduction

Required Skills and Qualifications





- 15+ years of experience in PHP development with strong hands-on experience in Symfony or other MVC frameworks
- Proven experience in leading teams of developers and delivering enterprise-grade software projects
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and data structures
- Experience with MySQL and optimizing SQL queries for performance
- Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and working with CI/CD tools
- Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Docker, containerization, or DevOps practices
- Exposure to cloud platforms or SaaS environments
- Previous work in enterprise software or public sector/healthcare projects
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and test automation
