Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Wiring

- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, conduits, switchboards, lighting systems, and circuit breakers
- Set up electrical systems in recent constructions, renovations, and lab setups

Maintenance & Inspections

- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues such as faulty wiring, overloads, or outdated components
- Test systems for voltage, continuity, and safety using standard electrical tools and diagnostic devices

Troubleshooting & Repairs

- Diagnose malfunctions including short circuits, tripped breakers, or outages
- Replace or repair damaged components such as fuses, relays, switches, and control panels

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA standards
- Implement grounding, insulation, and safety protocols as per regulations

Collaboration

- Work in coordination with engineers, architects, contractors, and infrastructure teams
- Mentor and supervise apprentices or junior electricians on assigned projects

Documentation

- Maintain accurate records/logs of repairs, inspections, and parts usage
- Provide reports to facilities management on maintenance cycles and incident resolutions
