The Agency Development Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing Point of Sales Persons (POSP) to achieve business targets. The role focuses on developing the agency channel, ensuring active participation of agents, and maintaining profitability through effective sales and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit recent Point of Sales Persons (POSP) to expand the agency network.
- Conduct onboarding and training sessions for newly recruited POSPs to enhance their sales capability.
- Coordinate with the operations team for pre-licensing, training, and licensing activities.
- Monitor and evaluate POSP performance regularly to ensure productivity and goal achievement.
- Maintain a healthy mix of new and existing POSP agents to ensure channel stability.
- Ensure high POSP activity levels through motivation, engagement, and continuous support.
- Implement measures to reduce attrition among POSP agents.
- Work on improving profitability through effective sales planning and monitoring.
- Manage and control the loss ratio by ensuring adherence to company processes and guidelines.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in agency sales, preferably in the life insurance sector.
