You will be a part of the Russell Investments Mumbai office, working closely with global stakeholders to support the technology and infrastructure driving investment and trading processes. Located in Goregaon (East), you will contribute to the foundation and culture of the firms operations in India. The Mumbai office operates with varying shifts to accommodate global time zones.**Key Responsibilities:**- Provide support and analysis of transactions impacting the business by understanding transaction flow and dependencies, ensuring consistency with US GAAP/Indian GAAP.- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations across various accounting functions, supporting the month-end close process with timely and accurate recordings, analysis of account fluctuations, and other key accounting tasks.- Process client and vendor invoices (payables and/or receivables) to ensure accurate payment or cash receipt, maintain financial reporting integrity and confidentiality, and comply with national and local financial requirements.- Participate in and lead accounting projects, assist in organizing and providing key documents to auditors.**Qualifications Required:**- 5 years of professional experience- Bachelors degree or college courses, investment industry experience preferred- Proficient in MS Office Suite, with intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel- Familiarity with month-end close processes and key transactions- Strong team player with attention to detail and quality of work- Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision, under pressure, and manage deadlines- Basic knowledge of the Asset Management industry.
