Location: Lonavala (Pune District, Maharashtra)

Company : We are hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established Luxury Hospitality and Experiential Leisure group in India, known for its premium Resort with immersive guest experiences in a scenic location at Lonavala. More such Destinations are in the process of being added to its portfolio.

The Organisation is recognized for delivering high-quality, design-led hospitality offerings with a solid emphasis on sustainability, local integration, and curated experiences. With a growing footprint of multiple properties, the Group continues to expand through strong brand positioning and strategic market penetration.

Role Overview : We are looking for an experienced Hospitality professional to lead the operations of a Luxury Resort Hotel at Lonavala. The GM will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing hotel profitability, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and building long-term relationships Clients.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can work closely with the hotel team, and serve as the primary operational representative for Owners and Clients. The focus is on maximizing asset performance through strong operational controls, people leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Leadership

- Lead day-to-day operations of a 60 keys all villa Luxury Property (capacity in the process of being Doubled soon alongwith Convention Centre) spread over 26 acres.
- Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards, SOPs, and service excellence.
- Drive improvements in RevPAR, GOP, EBITDA, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor operational KPIs through regular reviews with hotel leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with quality, statutory, safety, and brand requirements.

Relationship Management

- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for hotel owners/ Corporate office.




- Build trusted relationships through transparent communication and proactive engagement.
- Conduct Monthly and Quarterly Business Review Meetings.
- Present operational and financial performance reports with actionable recommendations.
- Develop and execute asset improvement plans aligned with owner expectations.
- Resolve any concerns promptly while balancing operational priorities and business objectives.

Financial & Business Performance

- Drive profitability through revenue enhancement and cost optimization initiatives.
- Review budgets, forecasts, payroll, purchasing, and departmental expenses.
- Monitor key financial metrics including:
- RevPAR
- ADR
- Occupancy
- GOP
- EBITDA
- Ensure achievement of annual business plans and owner returns.

Operational Excellence

- Standardize operating practices across all Departments.
- Implement best practices for housekeeping, front office, F&B;, engineering, and guest services.
- Conduct operational audits and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Drive guest experience initiatives resulting in higher online reputation scores and repeat business.
- Support pre-opening and stabilization of new managed properties whenever required.

Leadership & Talent Development

- Coach, mentor, and develop Managers and department heads.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability.
- Conduct performance reviews and succession planning.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and capability development.

Qualifications:

- IHM/Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- 15-20 years of hospitality experience and with leadership exposure as GM / Unit Head in A Resort Environment.
- Proven track record in managing high-end Resorts preferably in a Leisure / Remote Locations.
- Strong background in hotel operations, preferably with a Rooms background.
- Strong commercial understanding with the ability to improve hotel profitability.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
