We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Manager to join the Operating Partnership team in our Tax practice.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our Tax team and this team Prepares and or Review US Federal Income tax returns of Partnership/ Form 1065 (Operating Partnership).

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

- Manage U.S. federal and state tax engagements, including partnership / Form 1065 returns (Operating Partnership).
- Perform second-level reviews and concurring reviews on complex tax returns and engagements.
- Evaluate technical positions, key judgments, and high-risk areas before final submission.
- Ensure consistent application of firm methodologies, documentation standards, and best practices.
- Own engagement planning, execution, timelines, and deliverables for assigned clients.
- Ensure adherence to engagement budgets, scope, and firm quality standards.
- Manage, mentor, and develop India-based tax professionals, with ownership of team performance, utilization, and chargeability.
- Manage day-to-day execution of engagements or workstreams, ensuring efficient delivery under overall leadership oversight.
- Act as the primary India point of contact for US engagement teams, providing regular status updates and managing expectations.
- Work closely with senior management to provide regular updates on project status, risks, capacity constraints, and delivery challenges
- Collaborate closely with the Resource Management team to identify resource needs, manage assignments, and allocate work based on team capacity and availability.

Your Experience.

The successful candidate will have:

- Strong technical expertise in U.S. taxation and thorough understanding of accounting principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, teams, and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and mentoring staff.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and make informed decisions.




- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with U.S. teams and senior leadership.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related field.
- CPA/EA Qualification Preferred
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in U.S. taxation
- Experience with U.S. tax software such as CCH Axcess, Go-System, OneSource, ProSystem, and CCH Engagement/CaseWare.
